The first major church built in South Germany after the Thirty-Years’ War as a parish church and monastery church alike. Building started in 1652 under Michael Beer and Johann Serro, magnificent twin tower façade (tower tops from 1900), large cupola topping the choir hall, important interior design, e.g. carved choir stalls with rare Scagliola plates.
